Bei einem Raffrollo wird der Stoff nicht wie beim normalen Seitenzugrollo von einer Welle abgewickelt, sondern wird dieser auf der Rückseite durch Bänder nach oben gerafft. Je nach Raffung entsteht ein mehr oder weniger starker Faltenfall, aber auch geschlossen wirken die Raffrollos sehr dekorativ.
